Have You Ever Thought About Playing Basketball Overseas?

Come play with canadian students like yourself!

By now you have probably heard of travelling overseas to study and sight-see with a summer English Camp.  Why not do a camp that does these things, AND gets you on the court playing with Canadian Students?

· Improve your Skills: Directing Coach Dave has learned under some of the top coaches in Canada and the US.  He has played semi-professionally in Australia and Canada, and wants to give you the same opportunities and experiences he had. You will be challenged to grow as a player and test yourself against other campers.

· Make Connections: Make friends with Canadian students your age and meet high school and college coaches.  Playing a team sport together allows teammates to bond together, more than you normally would in a classroom setting.

· Improve your English: compared to a classroom, playing basketball gives you hundreds more opportunities to connect and speak English with those around you, which makes for a fun and engaging way to learn.  There are still classroom sessions, but our time playing basketball gives you opportunities to try what you have learned out in real situations.

· Sight-See: while basketball is a big part of Praxis Learning, it would be a waste to come all the way to Canada without seeing the beautiful landscape and culture.  We will be doing daily trips around the Vancouver area, taking you to see the best of what our World-class city has to offer.
